Diana Petech

Diana Petech has a past of humanistic and musical studies and artistic activity as harpsichordist and musicologist. She has been practicing in the Zen Buddhist tradition, the Thich Nhat Hanh School, since 1994; in 2002, she joined the Order of Interbeing and in 2006 she received the Transmission of the Lamp. She offers retreats, conferences and seminars on mindfulness, in close collaboration with local and national Sanghas. She has had the privilege of being able to immerse herself in the teachings also thanks to her activity as translator. She has translated about fifty of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books and of other contemporary teachers, for different publishers including Corbaccio, Mondadori and Terra Nuova. She actively takes part in the life of the Avalokita Center and of the Foundation.
