Silvia Lombardi initially practiced in the Vipassana tradition. In 1993 she met the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. For years, she took an active part in the meetings in Milan and at national level, becoming in 2002 a member of the Italian Community of the Order of Interbeing. She volunteered as a clown in hospital and hospice. In 2006, chosen by the Italian community, she received the Transmission of the Lamp from Thich Nhat Hanh. She is one of the founders of the Avalokita Center.
In 2016, she graduated in Anthropology, Religions and Oriental Civilizations. She offers teachings specifically on the art of death and dying, joy in the practice, conscious relationships and meditative massage.
