Where we are located
The Center is located in Villa Rossi, a small village next to Castelli, about 35 km from Teramo, close to the junction of two main highways, A14 Adriatic and A24 Rome-L’Aquila-Teramo A24.
Getting here
If at the time of registration you let us know where you are coming from, we will do our best to simplify your journey, giving you directions on public transport or helping you to contact other practitioners to carpool from your area.
By car
1) From the Adriatica highway: exit Giulianova, take the freeway to Teramo, which then continues as highway A24 direction L’Aquila – Rome. Exit San Gabriele – Colledara.
From Rome: take highway A24 Roma-L’Aquila-Teramo; after L’Aquila and the Gran Sasso tunnel, exit San Gabriele – Colledara.
2) From exit San Gabriele – Colledara: follow signs to Isola del Gran Sasso and then towards Castelli. Leaving Isola, follow signs direction Castelli. After 2.5 km, turn right direction Castelli. After 3 km turn right again towards Villa Rossi. Drive through Villa Rossi; the Center is located on the right, just passed the little village.
By public transport
By train
If you come by train, we recommend to travel with Trenitalia or Italo to Roma Tiburtina, then take a bus from the Tiburtina bus station to exit A24 San Gabriele-Colledara. This is the bus stop closest to the Center (about 15 minutes by car). Getting off at the Colledara exit is the quickest way to get here and also the simplest one for the Center to pick you up.
Those who need to travel on the Adriatic line can get off at Giulianova train station. From there, however, there is no direct connection in the direction of Castelli. You will need to get to Teramo first, by bus or train, and then take another bus to Castelli.
By Plane
For those coming by plane, the Gaspari bus company offers several daily trips from the two Rome airports to Teramo.
By Bus
TUA – Trasporto Unico Abruzzese (tel. 800.762622) offers rides from Roma Tiburtina bus station to highway exit Colledara (on the Roma-Teramo), marked on the site as “Colledara-sp37/c-ingresso A/24”; timetable at https://tua.mycicero.it/TPWebPortal/

Those who get off at the Colledara motorway exit stop or, if this is not possible, at the Val Vomano bus stop can let us know the arrival time of the bus; we will organize the ride to the Centre for a small fee. Those who get off in Teramo can take the Arpa bus from Piazzale San Francesco or Piazza Garibaldi direction Castelli (just before Castelli all buses stop at Villa Rossi).
